Floppy Disks are Going Away

PC World, a major computer seller, has announced that they will use up their remaining stocks of floppy disk drives and order no more.

This is a good time to mention that floppy disks and Zip disks are going away. If you still have important files on either of these, I HIGHLY recommend that you move them to your hard drive or CD. If this is important archival information for you or your unit, it may be a good time to put the files on the network drive (a.k.a. Mercury or H drive). We do not know how long we will even have hardware to read these disks.

If you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
